Our lovely new Marl Baby Essentials range arrived in mid-July. We know you'll miss the much loved safari print from the old essentials range, but we've got some really lovely things in the new range...

The marl collection of organic cotton baby clothes comes in three gorgeous colourways (pink marl, moonbeam marl and blue marl) and we've introduced a newborn size as well. Better still, these baby clothes are as eczema friendly as possible - no itchy back neck labels, flat seams and, of course, free from irritating chemicals and pesticides.

We've taken note of all the feedback we've received over the past few years, so you'll be over the moon to hear that our marl baby bodies and gowns come in packs of two.

We were very excited to have been shortlisted in three categories for the prestigious Cornwall Business Awards this year. We were up for Best Innovation of the Year, Best Website, and Lucy herself was shortlisted for Entrepreneur of the Year, so off we trotted to the 2008 ceremony, hopeful that we might actually win one of them!

In an exciting twist of events, we actually won two of the three - yippee!! We proudly watched as Lucy wandered up to collect her Entrepreneur of the Year Award and cheered happily as we were presented with Best Innovation. But the best was yet to come as the Winner of Winners (the equivalent to the Crufts 'Best in Show') was announced and took us all by surprise - Frugi!!
